Puerto Galera Sea Life

Puerto Galera offers something for very diver. Schooling reef fish, including jacks, snappers, fairy basslets, trigger fish, groupers, trevally, drummers and barracuda, set the scene against vibrant coral reefs and passing reef sharks. Turtles, moray eels, cephalopods and macro crustaceans are all found in abundance.

How To Get There

The main entry point to Puerto Galera is via Manila. From Manila there is a sea-plane option to Puerto Galera Bay. Alternatively (and more affordably) it is possible to take a taxi or bus from the airport to Batangas Pier – ask for the Tollway or Expressway to be sure of the fastest route. If you opt to hire a car, drive through the South Luzon Expressway, turn right to Star Toll gate and then head to Batangas Pier. From there, you can either park your car and ride a ferry going to Puerto Galera or have your car ride a RoRo (roll on, roll off) and take it with you.
